Plot is people. It's the human activities that make up the story, that make it good or bad.
A story is a letter that the author writes to himself, to tell himself things that he would be unable to discover otherwise.
The only story that seems worth writing is a cry, a shot, a scream. A story stripped of excess.
The more I know of the world, the more I am convinced that I shall never see a man whom I can really love. I require so much!

If you want to be a writer, you must do two things above all others: read a lot and write a lot.
The plot thickens, as they say. Why someone would want to kill him and not finish the job is beyond me.
A story should have a beginning, a middle, and an end... but not necessarily in that order.
The only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven't found it yet, keep looking. Don't settle.
